Smart meter technology is relatively new and untested. We are being used as the guinea pigs. Fortunately there are many people researching and providing information about their effects on us. This blog is an attempt to provide resources about the meters as well as information specific to Pennsylvania. Use the links in the sidebars to find informative websites, videos, studies and articles that I have found to be helpful, as well as information specific to PA residents.
After Michelle helped me, I submitted this design to Quirky.com for them to make something to protect our analog meters that anyone could put on, no drilling necessary. Give it a thumbs up and maybe Quirky.com will make it and help us protect our analog meters.

Terry, whatever happened to your submission? I can't find it at Quirky, although I realized that this post is nearly one year old.
ReplyDeleteI'm aware that there's already a manufactured product, but it's nearly $300 (including tax and shipping).
Sorry; I just realized that you mentioned *analog* meters. The product that I referred to was a shielding cover, to protect us from RF waves emitted from the smart meters.
