<br />
Finally we have some direct action that we can all take.
This was sent to me last night. It is a petition that we can each add our details to and email to a large number of legislators and others. The email addresses are already pre-loaded into the three emails that you will be sent when you submit your email address on the website.<br />
<br />
Here is the letter that was sent to me by a group of people who I have been working with for quite a while.<br />

<br />
The PA Smart Meter Opt Out Petition we drafted is too long to paste in an email, we hosted it on our secure website. Directions as to how to access it, personalize it, and send it in are below.<br />
<br />
The directions are simple, and even non techies can accomplish this easily.<br />
<br />
Pennsylvania has rolled out smart meter deployment all across the state with absolutely no exceptions or accommodations for those of us who are sensitive to microwaves or the conducted emissions of the smart meters. There are no medical opt outs whatsoever. Some have been forced to move out of state rapidly, leaving their communities, their jobs, their physicians, their friends, family and support systems. Others, who were able to, have gone off grid.<br />
<br />
Some of us suffer from electrohypersensitivity (EHS) and have eliminated all wireless technology in our homes out of necessity. Some of us suffer from cancer, heart arrythmias, diabetes or neurological disease, conditions which are known to be aggravated by wireless devices.
Some of us were so sickened by smart meters on our homes, we were forced to file lawsuits against our utilities in the Pennsylvania Public Utilities (PA PUC) court.<br />
<br />
However, once the PA PUC dismisses our cases after full blown hearings (they have ruled against every single one of us so far, stating that the utility witnesses who testified that smart meters can’t harm anyone are more credible than we are, more credible than our physicians who testified on our behalf, more credible than world famous experts in non-ionizing radiation, and more credible than experts in smart meter technology and conducted emissions, who have testified on our behalf.<br />
<br />
We are fighting for our lives here. The PA PUC refuses to grant us accommodations on our own homes from smart meter electromagnetic radiation. The state Governor refuses to help. The state Attorney General refuses to help. The State Legislature and Senate have introduced smart meter opt out bills for the past several years, but the House bills have sat in a committee chaired by a representative whom the utility industry has influenced with campaign contributions and family employment.<br />
<br />
The PA state legislature has only a few days left in its current session, and at least one EHS Pennsylvania resident who has lost her case in PUC court against her utility has been forced, with police on her front lawn, to get a smart meter, or get their home electricity disconnected, when the temperature was in the 90s for weeks on end.<br />
<br />
You do NOT have to live in Pennsylvania. Anyone can send in testimony or a very simple statement of support (see below).<br />
<br />
This is an urgent plea for help. Please help us to remain safe in our own homes.<br />
<br />
A victory in Pennsylvania is of utmost importance, allowing us to have smart meter opt outs, as all other states (now numbering 41) which have considered the matter, have done (except for Pennsylvania). It will have important ramifications for us all, making it easier for those who live where the issues of accommodations for the disabled have not been addressed, to introduce similar legislation in your state, and perhaps even at a national level.<br />
<br />
We need to educate our legislators as to the biological effects of EMFs on our most vulnerable residents. What is needed now is testimony -- in numbers -- to give them the courage and support to act to protect us.<br />
<br />
I realize how very busy everyone is, but we need each of you to send in a statement. Even if it means setting your alarm a half hour early or staying up late one night. So much harm will be done to us if this legislation is not passed.<br />

<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif; font-size: 0.9375em;">Monroeville officials plan to reach out to the state Public Utility Commission after hearing residents' concerns that smart meters measuring electrical usage may be a health hazard and a cause for other concerns.</span></div>
<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">A state law requires utilities to install the new electronic meters for customers.</span></div>
<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">But residents urged council at separate meetings this month to help stop utility companies from installing the meters.</span></div>
<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">“We're looking into it and looking into what the smart meters are really all about,” Mayor Greg Erosenko said Monday. “We heard from some residents and have (our) solicitor looking on his end.”</span></div>
<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">The issue was first brought up by resident Francis Hriadil at council's Oct. 6 workshop meeting. He said he has health, safety, privacy and security concerns about the meters. Critics say health concerns are rooted in the radio frequency emitted by the meters.</span></div>
<div class="Tab-brief-text TAB" style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 0.9375em; margin-bottom: 10px;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">“I think this is a public safety issue and a serious one,” he said.</span></div>

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — It’s obvious Norbert Sliwinski of Monroeville does not want Duquesne Light to install a so-called smart meter on his property.</div>

“The smart meter is not safe for the following reasons. It emits high frequency radio waves. You don’t feel them. You don’t know about them, but they can penetrate your body and they can cause health problems later on,” Sliwinski told KDKA money editor Jon Delano on Thursday.</div>
<div style="background: rgb(255, 255, 255); border: 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; line-height: 25.5px; margin-bottom: 25px; outline: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #1a1a1a; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 28.8px; margin-bottom: 1.125rem; padding: 0px;">

It's a small part of the billions of dollars utilities have <a href="http://www.marketwatch.com/story/smart-meters-market-worth-182-billion-by-2019-2015-04-10-92033338" sl-processed="1" style="border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #4190d9; font-family: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">invested in smart meters across the U.S.</a></div>

Please make sure this email gets to activists who live in NY, NJ and PA.<br />Kevin will be at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia next week July 25-28th and he needs people to join him.</div>
<div style="font-family: inherit; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-top: 6px;">
This week, Kevin and I are in the Republican Convention in Cleveland. What we noticed was that there are many groups with agendas demonstrating on the streets.Thousands of the convention visitors who are political activists and hundreds of media people taking pictures and making interviews. It's a huge happening and yesterday alone I did about 20 interviews and talked to countless other journalists. Our conclusion is that we must have presence on the streets of Philadelphia in the week of the Democratic convention. But for that to have any impact there must be a presence of more than just Kevin.We need to have a group of us there standing with signs, giving away material, talking to people about the topic, doing interviews etc. It will be a great way to make impact.<br />Kevin already got banners printed, got megaphones, and shirts. We need people to be there to hold the sign, wear the shirt and make an impact.<br />If you plan to attend, email Kevin atkeephealthyfamilies@gmail.com with all your contact information (names, emails and phone numbers). We will coordinate with you the time and location.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last night I watched <em><a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1596363/" target="_blank">The Big Short</a></em> —
maybe the most important Hollywood film in years. This true story is a
powerful and eloquent invitation to wake up to the sheer depravity at
the core of the system of commerce.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The fact that the film got nominated for
5 Oscars including Best Picture is a huge sign that there are way more
people waking up than we ever thought. The wrongs may not be getting
righted as quickly as we’d like, but it <span style="text-decoration: underline;">is</span> happening.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The reality of this shift is clearly
evidenced by this news last week from Ontario. After years of obvious
problems, Hydro One finally <strong>admitted that rural ‘smart’ meters do not work</strong>, and has decided to pull the plug on 36,000 of them — to start<strong>. </strong>We will see more utilities begin to do likewise. [UPDATE: BC Hydro just <a href="http://www.theprovince.com/health/hydro+must+remove+faulty+smart+meters/11660282/story.html" target="_blank">announced</a> plans to remove 88,000 meters suspected of failure.]</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Costing ratepayers billions, smart
meters are actually designed to unlawfully harvest detailed data of the
in-home activities of occupants without their knowledge or consent.</div>

CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMMITTEE CHAIR GODSHALL HELD HEARINGS FOR ELECTRIC
UTILITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES TO OPT-OUT FROM SMART METER ACT 129
REGULATIONS AS HE REFUSES TO RELEASE SMART METER RATEPAYER OPT-OUT BILLS
FOR A COMMITTEE VOTE<br /><br /> September 1st, 2015, a true anomaly
occurred in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regarding the right of
redress for grievances before government, its legislature and regulating
agencies. PA House of Representatives Consumer Affairs Committee Chair
Robert W Godshall acquiesced to corporate demands by staging a hearing
wherein testimony was presented by numerous vested corporate interests,
i.e., EDCs (electric distribution companies) to air their grievances
regarding relief from penalties ranging from $1 million to $20 million
regardless of fault in not meeting energy efficiency and peak demand
reduction mandates contained in Act 129 of 2008, AND their requests for
opt-out privileges, which Godshall said the committee and the PA PUC
would take under advisement.<br /><br /> The irony of the hearing that
Representative Godshall chaired is that he REFUSES to allow committee
voting for various opt-outs bills (past and present) for ratepayer
consumers regarding Smart Meters (SMs) that 7 utilities are forcing on
to them without regard for, nor concerns about, the problems AMI Smart
Meters cause: fires, explosions, EMF/RF health problems due to
non-thermal adverse reactions, plus consumers being liable for fire
damage caused by SMs that insurance companies refuse coverage for and
which utility companies blame on homeowners, when fires occurred after
SM retrofits. <br /><br /> Contrasting the two situations listed above,
one has to wonder where Godshall’s interests are to be found: with
consumers’ affairs or with vested corporate interests, especially since
his son, Grey Godshall, works as a manager for PECO/Exelon, the largest
electric and natural gas supplier in the USA.<br /><br /> An issue that
seems paramount to utilities is that “Act 129 allows EDCs to recover
only the costs of implementing energy efficiency and peak demand
reduction requirements and caps the cost of the combined programs at 2%
of the EDC’s total annual revenues as of December 31, 2006. The law
specifically precludes EDCs from recovering the revenue they lose due to
customer usage reductions,” as the Energy of Pennsylvania Association
president testified. <br /><br /> The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and
Industry Manager of Government Affairs dropped this little hint as to
what ratepayers can expect: “It can then be reasonably projected that
over the next three years, utilities will spend roughly an additional
$735 million to comply with the new targets – all of which will be borne
by ratepayers [consumers].” <br /><br /> Representative Evankovich, a
member of the Consumer Affairs Committee, questioned the inequity in the
system for business customers—not homeowner customers’ inequities—and
how businesses that were energy efficient in the first place are now
penalized under Act 129. Nothing was questioned regarding how
consumers/ratepayers, who dramatically and negatively are impacted by
SMs under Act 129, was ever addressed. It was all about corporate
interests and “follow the money.”<br /><br /> Newly-appointed PA PUC
Chairman, Gladys M Brown, testified that there are five changes coming
to Act 129, all of which seemingly may have favorable impacts for
Pennsylvania utilities and EDCs. However, nothing was said about
favorably impacting ratepayers/consumers. Why?<br /><br /> The Director of
Regulatory and Government Affairs for EnerNOC testified that “While
EDCs can recover the direct costs of the Act 129 programs [apparently
from grants and ratepayer rate hikes], they are not able to recover the
lost revenue that results from less energy being used.” He went on to
say, “If utilities can’t earn a return on this technology, they will be
less likely to deploy it relative to traditional infrastructure
investments for which they can earn a return.” What about ratepayers?<br /><br />
The Director of PennFuture Energy Center pointed to “Protect our
existing gains—Any action that lowers the Act 129 budgets or lowers the
EDC’s targets means that another program will have to do more. At a
minimum, we should avoid weakening the program.” With regard to
“Rethink our rate designs—In our restructured market, our electric
utilities are in the business of selling electric distribution services,
not electricity itself. They should be paid a fair price for the
service they provide, but the rate design should encourage energy
efficiency not waste.”<br /><br /> However, it was the testimony of the
Industrial Energy Consumers of Pennsylvania (IECPA) that delineated
what’s involved when he presented Slide 6 of his PowerPoint presentation
regarding “Concerns and Facts About the Opt-Out,” which applies to
power company suppliers, not ratepayer consumers—a BIG difference
regarding the word “consumers.” Those Opt-Out Concerns, as appeared in
the PP presentation, include:<br /> • “Opt-Out reduces Residential & Small Business Participation<br /> • Opt-Out will reduce large consumer energy efficiency<br /> • Opt-Out allows consumers to collect grants & leave the Program without paying<br /> • Opt-Out reduces energy industry jobs in the Commonwealth<br /> • Opt-Out reduces funding to large consumer market segment<br /> • Opt-Out allows large consumers to avoid investment in PA or energy efficiency”<br /><br />
How can EDCs present their grievances and be taken seriously regarding
the impacts of Act 129 of 2008 when homeowners/ratepayers/<br />
<div dir="ltr">
<wbr></wbr>consumers
have been trying to get relief from the problems Act 129 creates for
thousands upon thousands of Pennsylvanians and Committee Chair Godshall
refuses to call opt-out bills for a vote, plus his staffers are very
rude to every ratepayer/consumer who calls Godshall’s office to register
their comments? However, Godshall was very cordial to all EDC
representatives who testified.\<br /><br /> PASMA respectfully asks the
Pennsylvania legislature to enforce Robert W Godshall’s recusing
himself, as he apparently is playing favorites in not allowing Smart
Meter Opt-out Bills to be called for a vote and also has a conflict of
interest in his son’s employment with PECO/Exelon. Should there be a
recall referendum instituted against Godshall?<br /><br /> ###<br /><br /> If

<br />
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 6-18-15<br />
<br />
Contact: Tom McCarey <br />
Telephone: <a href="tel:610-687-7607" target="_blank" value="+16106877607">610-687-7607</a> <br />
<br />
WHY IS PECO SENDING OUT SHUT-OFF NOTICES WHEN IT’S NOT DOING WHAT<br />
THE PA LEGISLATURE VOTED FOR IN 2008?<br />
<br />
Almost
daily, PASMA is hearing from PECO customers that they are receiving
notices their electricity will be cut off if PECO is not permitted to
install an AMI Smart Meter (SM) that emits radiofrequency non-ionizing
radiation (RF), has caused untold house fires in the Philadelphia area
and around the country—including fire deaths, and causes health problems
because of the microwaves that are emitted.<br />
<br />
Microwaves are
dangerous to one’s health, but that fact is downplayed by PECO and the
PA Public Utility Commission (PA PUC), who should know better, in favor
of much older, skewed ‘science’. Customers with disabilities, multiple
chemical sensitivities, cancer, heart disease, etc. are at greater
health risks—so are young, growing children and, in particular, in utero
fetuses!<br />
<br />
Since the PA PUC deliberately misinterpreted HB2200
when it became PA Act 129 (2008) and set utility implementation
regulations that SMs are mandatory, which the PA state legislature did
NOT want, PASMA and PA citizens consider PECO’s, the PA PUC’s and
especially PA State Representative Robert Godshall’s actions as
legislative overreach, breaching democratic principles of governance,
and illegal—plus prosecutable if only the “old boys’ network’ would stop
working in favor of vested interests at all levels regarding Smart
Meters.<br />
<br />
Pennsylvanians are fed up with Godshall’s sitting on SM
opt-out bills in the PA House Consumer Affairs Committee. He allowed
several bills to die in the last session and now that three new ones
(HB394, HB395, HB396) are up in the committee he chairs, he is refusing
to call them for a vote.<br />
He’s told everyone either allow an SM to be
installed or get a generator! Furthermore, Godshall’s told others that
he will NEVER call SM opt-out bills for a vote by the committee.<br />
<br />
To help PA utility customers, there are numerous PA state house members
who have co-sponsored those opt-out bills since they realize the
totally wrong direction the PA PUC and utility companies, in particular
PECO who is buying up electric companies around the country, have taken
in mandating SMs on every PA house and commercial building. Numerous
states have SM legal opt-outs, plus opposition to SMs is growing around
the country and around the globe, since SMs are a part of the global UN
Agenda 21.<br />
<br />
What’s a threatened utility customer to do?<br />
1.
Attend the Press Conference in front of Rep. Godshall’s Hatfield office
to let him know how wrong he is in his totalitarian-style of legislating
and representing Pennsylvanians. Don’t forget to bring your protest
signs!<br />

3.
Others who don’t want and fear SM hazards, including surveillance and
reporting of appliance electric power usage inside your home to others,
including third parties, and/or the ability to turn off your ‘smart’
appliances, may want to contact Governor Tom Wolf’s aid, Lyn McDonnell,
in his Philadelphia office at <a href="mailto:lymcdonnell@pa.gov" target="_blank">lymcdonnell@pa.gov</a> to let the Governor know how you feel about illegal PA law, Act 129 of 2008.<br />
4. Every Pennsylvanian should contact his or her Pennsylvania State Legislator in Harrisburg <a href="http://www.legis.state.pa.us/" target="_blank">http://www.legis.state.pa.us/</a>
to get SM opt-out legislation passed in Pennsylvania. Not everyone
can handle RFs and EMFs from SMs. Here’s what the American Association
of Environmental Medicine says about Electromagnetic and Radiofrequency
Exposure <a href="https://aaemonline.org/pdf/AAEMEMFmedicalconditions.pdf" target="_blank">https://aaemonline.org/pdf/AAEMEMFmedicalconditions.pdf</a> .<br />

<b><a href="http://www.activistpost.com/2015/04/conflict-of-interest-smart-meter.html" target="_blank">Activist Post</a></b><br />
<br />
Otto von Bismarck, the conservative Prussian statesman, who dominated
German and European affairs from the 1860s until 1890 [1], supposedly is
attributed with saying, “If you like laws and sausages, you should
never watch either one being made.” How true, especially in the case of
the shenanigans that apparently have gone on in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania regarding <b>House Bill 2200 that became Act 129 in 2008.</b><br />
<br />
House Bill 2200 had amendments, and the Freeman Amendment in particular, is discussed in the House Journal. <b><i>Were Smart Meters (SMs) really mandated or actually supposed to be voluntary,</i></b>
since the history of that bill, according to the House and Senate
Journals, seems to indicate something totally different than what is
being forced upon electric power company customers like PECO, an Exelon

REGINA – SaskPower has announced that they are removing all the smart meters that were installed in the province.<br />
The
minister responsible for SaskPower Bill Boyd said the utility company
will be taking out all 105,000 smart meters around Saskatchewan.<br />
“I
think the concerns about safety are paramount here, the concerns are
significant enough, anytime families are at risk in Saskatchewan,
actions have to be taken and that’s why we’ve directed SaskPower
accordingly,” said Minister Boyd.<br />

The removal of the smart meters over the next six to nine months will cost around $15 million, according to SaskPower.<br />
“We
view it as similar to a recall situation and the people of Saskatchewan
shouldn’t be responsible for the costs of this and we’ll do everything
we can to recover those costs,” said Boyd.<br />
Boyd will also be reviewing why the new meters weren’t properly studied or tested before they were installed in homes.<br />
“I
don’t know whether there was enough testing done. We’ll certainly be
conducting, along with SaskPower, an internal review of the procurement
procedures around this around the safety concerns people had,” added
Boyd.<br />
“We want to determine when these were originally ordered, if
there were safety concerns known at that point in time, so we have a
lot of questions we’re going to be discussing with SaskPower about how
this came to be.”<br />
Earlier this month SaskPower <a href="http://globalnews.ca/news/1452741/saskpower-halting-smart-meter-installations-after-several-fires/" target="_blank">temporarily suspended its installation</a> of smart meters around the province after half a dozen caught fire.<br />

<br />
This new document process was developed by an awake lawyer in New York, and we are reposting so it is widely available.<br />
<br />
You can use it to state and enforce your Non-Consent for a “smart” / “advanced” / “AMI” meter, your demand for removal (if there is a meter where you live) and to notify the recipients that they are liable – in their individual capacity – for all harm caused.<br />
<br />
Whether your utility has installed a “smart” meter on your home, or you still have an analog meter, use the document process below to claim and demand your rights.<br />

Warnings from the BioInitiative Working Group/
University at Albany, Rensselaer, New York /April 16, 2014<br />
<br />
The BioInitiative Working Group says evidence for health risk from wireless tech is growing stronger and warrants immediate action.<br />
<br />
The Group released a mid-year update covering new science studies from 2012 to 2014.
New studies intensify medical concerns about malignant brain tumors from cell phone use. “There is a consistent pattern of increased risk for glioma (a malignant brain tumor) and acoustic neuroma with use of mobile and cordless phones” says Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD at Orebro University, Sweden, according to studies released in 2012 and 2013. “Epidemiological evidence shows that radiofrequency should be classified as a known human carcinogen. The existing FCC/IEEE and ICNIRP public safety limits are not adequate to protect public health.”<br />

Robo<em>The letter below was sent to Florida Power and Light Chairman/CEO James L. Robo this week upon reviewing FPL’s <a href="http://www.fpl.com/customer/rates_and_bill/ns_meters.shtml">policy</a>
to “opt out” of Smart Meter technology for an “enrollment fee” and
subsequent monthly payments. Such payments amount to mob-style extortion

potential harassment or harm.</em><br />

<br />
Dear Mr. James L. Robo,<br />
I am writing with regard to the “Smart Meter” appliance that your
company, Next Era Energy / Florida Power and Light (NEE/FPL; NYSE: NEE)
placed on my home and households throughout my Boca Raton neighborhood
in April 2011, and your present bid for my family to “opt out” of
exposure to such technology. As you are likely aware, after doing
extensive research on the device and its implications for privacy and
human health, in addition to conducting periodic measurements with my <a href="http://www.gigahertz-solutions.com/en/Online-Shop/Measurement/High-Frequency/Instruments/HF35C.html">HF35-C RF Analyzer</a>,
I discovered how your Smart Meter apparatus was discharging microwave
radiation on my family (which includes small children) in excess of
10,000 microwatts per square meter every thirty-to-ninety seconds. I
requested that NEE/FPL remove the meter. NEE/FPL complied only after
being repeatedly telephoned and furnished with my own observations
delivered via certified mail and accompanied by copious scientific
research that such “Smart Meter” technology poses a serious health
hazard and privacy-related concerns (<a href="http://memoryholeblog.com/2013/06/07/occupy-your-home-struggling-aganst-smart-meter-toxification/fpl_jerez_9-11b-2/">here</a>, <a href="http://memoryholeblog.com/2013/06/07/occupy-your-home-struggling-aganst-smart-meter-toxification/rickets_fpl_12-2011a-2/">here</a>, <a href="http://memoryholeblog.com/2013/06/07/occupy-your-home-struggling-aganst-smart-meter-toxification/aaem_referencelistemf-2/">here</a>, and <a href="http://memoryholeblog.com/2013/06/07/occupy-your-home-struggling-aganst-smart-meter-toxification/aaem_californiapublicutilitiescommission-2/">here</a>).<br />

HB 906 has passed the House and is being moved over to the Senate for their consideration. This is the bill that would add in a clause to protect our information from being handed over to government agencies without our consent. <br /><br />However, the bill was substantially re-worded in the House. The good thing is that there is movement for at least one of the three smart meter bills...the not so good thing is that the original wording has seriously changed to include a lot of exceptions.<br /><br />The text of the bill in its current form is here...<a href="http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/PN/Public/btCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&sessYr=2013&sessInd=0&billBody=H&billTyp=B&billNbr=906&pn=2867" target="_blank">HB 906</a><br />

"Through a variety of sources the investigative work revealed that, like the companies in the tobacco industry, the mobile-telephony manufacturers had implemented a “product defence” strategy designed to raise, quite artificially, scientific doubt about the harmfulness of this technology, whose damaging effects had in fact been known to specialists since the 1970s. The scientific studies conducted during that era described the so-called “microwave syndrome” exhibited by radar operators at air bases. The symptoms reported by these studies were the same ones described by the so-called “electrohypersensitive” people who are suffering because of the waves today."

Over the last half-century, technological advancements have grown exponentially. In the early 1960’s, broadcast television was still new to many people and there was no such thing as a personal computer. Since that time, our desire for technology has grown, and with it, the means of transmitting the data used by these devices. From radios and televisions to cellular phones and wifi-enabled devices, all are using an invisible wave of some kind. But could all of this electronic activity be harmful to us?
<br>
<br>
This week on One Cell One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy welcomes Curtis Bennett, aka The Thermoguy, to discuss these potential maladies and other things being emitted from one source or another that could be hazardous to our health, environment and structures. A world-renowned engineer, scientist and environmentalist, Curtis has dedicated his life to studying the invisible by using thermography to see images beyond our spectrum. He is an expert on the dangers of EMF, Cell Phones, WIFI, Smart Meters…AND much MORE!
